Dream Theater, new album: Black Clouds & Silver Linings

Sit back and relax after finish all of my activity today, grabs my mp3 player and start to push the play button. Growl of James Hetfield voices (lvocal and lead/hythm guitar Metallica) fresh up my tired body and my soul with his speed metal music... hmmm such a weirdo for you huh... thats my way to get relax, while the clock show 11:13 PM on it.
A little about James Hetfield, since the day when my brother introduce me to Megadeth, I was found something different on my beat, yes, during that time I was a guitar player for my band, and then I'll trying to seek another similar band with Megadeth, then my drumer show his brother, the elder, collection, he gave me some album from Mettalica with its title 'Ride The Ligtning' and another one with title '...and Justice For All'.
I've found the similar beat between Dave Mustaine and James Hetfield on their guitar technique, although I was not know yet if Dave was a former of Metallica lead guitarist.
Trully, I rather choose Metallica instead, since their music is much colorfull with sound, especially for the drum, the beat is waving and sometime the sound like jumping around, but still have harmony with others instruments. It was on 1990.
While Dave move forward with his 'Family Tree', one of his song on his album 'Youthanasia", James and other band members gave us '..and Justice For all...", those two songs brought me to new wave of my appreciation to metal music.
In the 2007, when Metallica getting 'soft' on their music, and my age is give its influence to my appetite :), I'm try to heard another band, from some band and musician I've heard, I choose 1 musician and 1 band.
The great musician that I like is Joe Satriani, one of the Master of Guitars, beside there is another guitar player with strange weird technique called Steve Vai (try find his killer song 'For the love of God'), Joe is more skilled in his fingering and sound color. Most of guitaris in the world trying to adapt his technique, and the one who lucky to become his student is Kirk Hammet, lead guitarist of Metallica, he was absolutely adapt of his master technique, almost of his guitar sound always using pooh waw effect as Joe does.
And the band that I've choosed is Dream Theater, their classic, progressive and artistic composition was gave me another influence on my technique, but still I will not and ever can have the same with Joe Petruci (lead guitar) ha...ha.... my finger is too hard to knock off strings...
Systematic Chaos, one of my favorite album from them which contains some of they sopicated songs Octarium, Learning to live, In the name of god, and now I'm still waiting for their new album Black Clouds & Silver Linings.
I've heard, this album is have not much difference with systematic chaos, and some review says they tend to slow on their composition and adapt a little gothic, in other words a little bit boring, and the shortest duration on their songs is take about 13 minutes, what a long way to crash my ears :)
However I'm still waiting and will buy their new album, for 3 CD for 1 album, I thing its worth enough to have them...
